Christmas party at the Nelson's
What a great Christmas Party, YES? Beautiful tree, decorations, great food, excellent champagne punch great piano music by brother Frank Bright who is new to our Association but kind enough to entertain us most of the evening, taking us through a lot of casual night club tunes plus Christmas Carols and SAE songs toward the end of the evening We also enjoyed having a more than sizable crowd of about 40.
We were honored by the presence of two officers from our neighboring Jacksonville Association. Their President A.J. Souto and VP Chris Slott gifted us with a framed charter of our Association they had ordered from the Temple.
Now is the time for our annual association meeting, which I have scheduled for 4PM, January 27 at Charlie Reese's house (10 Oyster Rake Lane in H. Head Plantation). For those who haven't been to one of these events, it is brothers only, casual dress, we will discuss this past year's activities, talk about coming events this year, one of the brothers will talk about his chapter (the good, the bad, etc.) and we will finish with a nice cocktail hour with the usual beer, liquors, hors d'ouvres, and you should be home for dinner by 6-6:30pm.
$25 dues are now payable but there is no cost for this event. All members not actually carrying the flu bug are expected to attend!
Remember to make a note about Founder's day, which will be Wednesday, March 6, Sea Pines C Club.
